Personal

I am a very hard working person who has a good attitude so that helps me get on with whatever task I am set. I am a team player and get along well with other people. It has always been a big ambition of mine to work within the fashion world as it has always interested me. I believe that I am a quick learner and can adapt well to different scenarios.

Interests

As I am into fashion I like to draw a lot and I draw inspiration from music, television and my surroundings. I like watching television programmes that usually relate in some way to the fashion industry. I sometimes go out for a jog if not then I like to get on with my projects. When I’m back at home I like to walk my dog and catch up with family and friends.

I am currently in my first year of a Foundation Degree in Fashion which I am studying at the Arts University College Bournemouth.

Career History

Jonathan James, Banbury, July 2008 to July 2009.
I have learnt a lot of new skills since working at Jonathan James like doing stock refills, stock merchandising and also how to do a stock take. My main roles at Jonathan James was ensuring that the shelves were always filled, the shop was tidy, using the tills and making sure that if the customer needed another size shoe I was always willing to go and see if we have that size or style.

Peacocks, Banbury, September 2007 to April 2008.
Working at Peacocks I have learnt a lot of new skills. I have learnt to become more confident at speaking to new people and interacting with customers and also I now know how to use the tills. My job entailed doing lots of things such as using the tills, tidying the store, doing fitting room returns, putting new stock out and preparing for the sales by marking down garments.
